Welcome to Electric City

Last week saw the launch of Tom Hanks’ Electric City, a brand-new 90 minute web animation presented in twenty 3-minute episodes. It’s free to watch online at Yahoo Screen and features the voice talents of Tom Hanks, Jeanne Tripplehorn, Ginnifer Goodwin, James Urbaniak, Chris Parnell and Tara Strong. The inter-woven storylines and vivid animation combine with a compelling score to that will immerse you into the dystopian world of the Electric City.

More than just an animated series, Electric City is a rich multimedia experience. Fans can join in the action via Electric City: Revolt, a mobile game now available for both iPhone and Android.

Continuing this cross-platform development, UDON collaborated with the Electric City team to develop a pair of prequel comics which will be launching soon! These two comics explore the background of Electric City, revealing secrets of how this broken future came to be – along with the personal history of key characters who will work to bring the dark city into a brighter day. The comics feature artwork and colors by UDON artists Jeffery “Chamba” Cruz, Edwin Huang and Espen Grundetjern. For now, you can check out the animation and mobile game, and we’ll be announcing the comic as soon as it’s available online (also for free – yay!).
