No, this isn’t an April Fool’s joke – we’ve just finished up the selections process for the World of Warcraft Tribute collection! We’ll be sending out emails to all the selected artists later this week, so if you’ve been waiting to hear back about your submission, your wait is almost over!

Massive thanks to all the great artists who sent in their work – you guys really blew us away with your talent and passion for the World of Warcraft game, characters and setting. We are thrilled with how the book is shaping up and can’t wait to show off everyone’s hard work to the world this summer!

Hi everyone! According to the flood of emails and messages we’ve been getting here at the UDON offices over the past few days, it seems a lot of artists and fans didn’t hear about the World of Warcraft Tribute submissions call until quite recently. Obviously we’re bummed to hear that so many people feel they missed out on a chance to participate…. and since we built a little extra time into the production schedule, we’ve decided to honor those requests for an extension and keep the submissions window open for another 14 days!

You now have until January 31st, 2013, to submit your work for possible inclusion in the World of Warcraft Tribute collection. This stellar art book, featuring a wide range of pieces from artists around the globe, is set to debut at Comic Con International 2013 in San Diego as a con-exclusive hardcover – and your work could be part of the excitement!

For artists who rushed to submit before the original deadline, don’t worry! If you want to make any tweaks or revisions to your piece, feel free to submit it again. We will count the latest version as your entry (and we appreciate your hard work in meeting the initial deadline).

Planning to submit your awesome artwork for the WORLD OF WARCRAFT® TRIBUTE collection? Wait no more! The official website is now updated with complete rules and guidelines for entry, along with the submission form to send in your work for consideration!

This collection will offer a chance for hundreds of professional and fan artists to show off their artistic skills and pay homage to their favorite characters, settings and moments from the phenomenally popular, worldwide sensation, World of Warcraft. All styles of art are welcome – digital painting, traditional media, anime, western comics, cartoon, pixel-based, even sculptures – whatever best expresses your love for WARCRAFT!

Submissions will be accepted until January 15th, 2013.
